Invasive pop ups

The top of page popped up lies right over the audio. There appears to be no way to make the pop up go away. Therefore the audio feature is not usable.

Ads

Same comment--all of a sudden, ads now popping up, some of which block useful text. I agree with the poster below--I would pay a small fee for the awesome usefulness of this app, but ads ruin it. If they continue to appear, Ill have to find a new app or go back to google translate--Im not willing to deal with ads. No ads and Id rate 4 stars.

Lotta bugs, need fix

It was perfect, now dont know what happened..it doesnt work anymore, cant even type words...its all messed up. Hoping for an update soon

Technical problems

I developer. I love your app and rely on it many times per day. But why do you release version that are so broken? I would gladly pay for this app. But I would never do that given your recent update history. My current version flashes a weird video of the World Trade Center every other search. And the searches are now taking three or four times as long.

Dr

Ads are annoying. They pop up on the page and cover the info. It is netter to use a browser and go to the online website.

Obliterated by ads

I have been using this app for several years and have recommended it to dozens of people in our language classes. It is still the best dual language dictionary, but for several months now it is plagued by an insistent banner ad that covers the top part of the definition. The ad cannot be removed without going through several steps, supplying a reaction ("inappropriate", "already bought it", etc.) and then waiting for it to fade slowly into the background. The system does not learn from user feed back. I bought the ad-free version a few years back and enjoyed it. That version was cancelled, and now were back to a cluttered interface that is so greedy to interrupt ones experience that it ruins an otherwise great program. Im now recommending other good programs to our students.

It used to be great

Recently, ads cover parts of the screen, making the app close to useless.

Awesome site, awesome app

The WordReference website has constantly proven itself to be an invaluable resource in my academic pursuits of foreign languages, and I was extremely pleased to discover that the mobile app offers the same capabilities. The user interface works well for mobile browsing, and I love still being able to easily check the forum and view the conjugation of any given verb. Overall, incredible app and perfect for doing homework without needing my laptop constantly open to the WordRef site. Glad I discovered this application. :)

Ads Ruin App

The best translation app by far...except it is RUINED by persistent ads that get in the way, block content, and just make the app unusable. Please provide an IAP to remove ads! Until then I cannot recommend this app.

One of the greatest dictionaries ever!!!

I dont know how many times I looked up words in this wordreference dictionary. It must be in the thousands of words count. I love how you can look up multiple languages in one app. Download it! WR also probably has the best modern Greek-English dictionary around.

Buggy

Love the website but the app is buggy. Current version wont let me type anything

Good but needs an update

The app is of decent quality but it severely needs an update to fit the screen of the later generation of iPhones
